Poster Abstract Submissions

As an attendee of the Advanced Therapeutics in Movement & Related Disorders (ATMRD) Congress, we invite you to submit an abstract highlighting original work or an encore poster for presentation at the ATMRD Congress 2026 in Washington, DC, June 5-June 8, 2026. Categories for submission can include research on basic or clinical topics, health outcomes, patient care and best practices, and other work related to movement disorders.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected for display at ATMRD 2026 by our medical review board, led by MedStar Georgetown University Hospital faculty.  Accepted posters will be viewed by leading and emerging clinicians specializing in movement disorders in the United States.

Submission Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026

Please note: If you are submitting an abstract on behalf of the presenter, you will be responsible for communicating with the presenter(s) on all poster presentation details. Multiple emails will not be sent.

  • Abstracts should:
    • not exceed 300 words.
    • include the full names and affiliations of all authors.
  • Multiple submissions are welcome; however, if there are multiple presenters, only the submitter will be notified and responsible for notifying the presenter(s) of all details.
  • Encore Posters
    • Abstracts may be submitted for an encore poster previously accepted and displayed at a conference or meeting, provided:
      • It was a conference or meeting within 2025-2026.
      • You include the conference/meeting name, date(s), and location at which your poster was accepted and displayed.

Poster Guidelines

These guidelines apply to those who are selected to present a poster at ATMRD.

  • Presenters will be required to print, ship, and set up their poster onsite.
  • Poster size is limited to horizontal (45″x40″) or vertical (40″x45″) layouts. There are no exceptions to this size limit.
    • If your poster is outside the size limit listed above, you will be required to have it reprinted at your own expense before it can be displayed.
  • You will be required to submit a PDF version of your accepted poster, which will be viewable on the ATMRD website and conference app.
  • At least one contributing author must be in attendance.
    • Authors may also designate a presenter who is familiar with the topic and subject matter.
    • If the submitter of the abstract is different than the presenter, the submitter is responsible for providing all details to the presenter.
  • Presenters should be prepared to discuss the content and answer attendee’s questions during the designated poster session.
  • A select number of outstanding posters will receive special recognition.
Late-Breaking Abstracts

Late-breaking abstracts are those critically important research developments that occur after the abstract submission deadline, leading up to ATMRD Congress, which offers crucial insights to advanced therapies.

Late-breaking abstracts will be evaluated and considered if they meet the following criteria:

  • This category is not an extension of the general abstract submission.
  • The topic must be of critical importance to the clinical landscape in movement disorders that relies on data and analysis published after the deadline for general poster abstract submission.
  • Poster may not have been previously presented at a conference.
