Jill M. Farmer, DO, MPH

Jill M. Giordano Farmer, DO, MPH is a board-certified neurologist and Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Parkinson’s Disease & Movement Disorder Program at Global Neurosciences Institute in Lawrenceville, NJ. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Robert Wood Johnson School of Public Health. She completed an internship in family medicine at Georgetown University-Providence Hospital. She also completed a residency in neurology at Georgetown University Hospital, serving as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in movement disorders. At Global Neurosciences Institute, she has developed a comprehensive movement disorder program to address medical management, surgical management and rehabilitation strategies for patients with Parkinson disease and other movement disorders. She has also developed clinics for botulinum toxin therapy to treat dystonia and spasticity, as well as deep brain stimulation to manage Parkinson disease, essential tremor and dystonia.
