Jessica Karl, PA-C, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences and board-certified physician assistant at Rush University Medical Center. She is a graduate of Rush University for both her masters and doctoral degrees. Her areas of expertise include deep brain stimulation (DBS) and other interventional therapies for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Dr. Karl has published multiple research articles focused on maximizing the outcomes of DBS therapy. She is also involved in DBS education for advanced practice providers and movement disorder fellows at the local and national level.
