COVID-19

#Statement

COVID-19 & DELTA

As we all know information and guidance about COVID 19 changes regularly.  Because of that we will move forward with this long awaited in-person program for October 2021. Because this is the first in-person movement disorder meeting since March 2020, we know we are all anxious to be together and that learning and resilience is greatly improved when we can be in the same room together.  That truth applies to clinicians as well as patients and their loved ones.

Knowing this was the first live program since COVID we took initial precautions with our planning:

  • Limited attendance to ensure there is not a large crowd gathering
  • Contained programming ensuring that all meals and needs will be met by the hotel and conference thereby reducing external exposure in restaurants and other environments
  • Spacing between seats for all sessions

PMD Alliance follows the guidance of the CDC in all of our program planning as well as any potentially more restrictive local guidelines. We will keep an eye on the CDC guidelines and inform you if anything has changed related to the Congress.

If the Congress is not able to occur in October, we will ensure that all registered attendees have an option to apply their registration to the postponed date or issued a refund based on the refund policies.  This Congress will not be transitioned to an online offering.  If it is not possible to hold as planned, we will schedule a new date at the earliest possible time.

Because we have limited space, due to our safety planning, we encourage anyone interested in attending to register and reserve your space as we anticipate a waiting list for attendance.
