APProviders™

APProviders™ at ATMRD

APProviders™ Conference is an extension of PMD Alliance’s APProviders™ Consortium, a network built for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) by APPs in movement and related disorders to connect, refuel their inspiration, deep dive into further education, and collaborate to enhance the lives of their patients.

The APProviders™ Consortium is the only organized network for movement and related disorder APPs in the United States. APPs are an essential part of Movement Disorder Care & Support Ecosystem© and play a vital role in the patient care team in healthcare settings. Because of the APP’s whole-person, patient-centric approach to care, their service and care model is ideally aligned with the philosophies and practices of PMD Alliance.

The APProviders™ Consortium is responsive, expanding, and offers a range of resources, including an ever-growing library of free, on-demand continuing medical education (CME) courses for APPs by APPs.

FAQ

  • In 2019, PMD Alliance recognized the need for an organized, collective network of movement disorder APPs to support this important group of providers. Synergistically aligned with a shared focus on whole-person care and a support system view of health and wellness, PMD Alliance and the APProviders™ Advisory Board have been building a continuum of services to connect, educate, inspire, and empower APPs everywhere. This is the only organized network for movement and related disorder APPs in the United States. It is a groundbreaking network that will push the needle forward on APP education and patient quality of life.

  • We believe that APPs are an essential part of the care team. We envision a care team that is fully integrated and one that celebrates and builds upon the unique offerings and expertise of every member of the team, including APPs. To do that, we believe the first step is to model the kind of interaction and collaboration we seek to foster. By gathering together in-person and linking this conference with our broader ATMRD Congress, we are demonstrating the integrated nature of APPs within the Movement Disorder Care & Support Ecosystem©. Of equal importance, our APProviders™ Conference values the collaborative potential of APPs connecting amongst their peers, offering time for these providers to exclusively learn together and network while receiving much-needed CMEs.

There are many ways to get involved. Here are just a few:

  • Join us for the APProviders™ Conference & stay for the Congress. Advance Practice Providers (APPs) are able to join the APP session for no additional charge when registering for the full ATMRD Congress.
    All CMEs are included!
  • Join the APProvider™ community by registering for the website and app (available in the iTunes store and Google Play) to connect with colleagues across the country and stay informed about educational events just for you!
  • Tell your APP friends and colleagues about the APProvider™ Network and get them involved!
